This Privacy Policy discloses the privacy practices for DDM Initiatives, LLC d/b/a First Rule Contract Training (“First Rule”). For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to “First Rule” include First Rule Contract Training, firstruletraining.com. and any derivatives thereof.

 

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE GATHER ABOUT YOU?

We collect information from you when you access any First Rule resources, when you subscribe to our services, and when you join our mailing list.

 

WHAT DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION FOR?

We use your IP address administer our website by identifying (1) which parts of our site are most heavily used, and (2) which portion of our audience comes from within the First Rule network. We may link IP addresses to email addresses to contact visitors through third party software, such as abandoned cart applications.

The email address you provide may be used to send you information, respond to inquiries, and/or other requests or questions.

User information may be shared with third-party partners to the extent necessary to provide and improve services, offer complimentary services, or otherwise communicate to users. Any third parties who receive user information for this purpose are prohibited from using or sharing user information for any purpose other than providing services to users.

We may also provide your information to third parties in circumstances where we believe that doing so is necessary or appropriate to: satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request; detect, prevent or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues; or protect the rights, property or safety of us, our users or others.

 

SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION COLLECTED BY FIRST RULE

First Rule reserves the right to identify any company that purchases a membership at any level or registers any of its employees for individual courses. First Rule may use the company’s logo on a roster of clients featured on any of its sites or in marketing.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, First Rule will honor the request of any subscriber to refrain from using its name or logo on our site or in any marketing

DEVICE INFORMATION COLLECTED BY FIRST RULE

We may collect non-personal information about the computer, mobile device or other device you use to access First Rule, such as IP address, geolocation information, unique device identifiers, browser type, browser language or other information of this nature. We use this information in an aggregate fashion to track access to First Rule.

 

COOKIES

Cookies are small files that are stored on your computer (unless you block them). We use cookies to understand and save your preferences for future visits and compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future. We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our site visitors. We may provide hyperlinks to third-party websites as a convenience to First Rule users. First Rule does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for the contents of any linked-to, third-party websites or any hyperlink in a linked-to website. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of third-party websites.

 

POSTING OF INFORMATION

You should be aware that if you voluntarily disclose personal information online in a public area of any First Rule site, such as discussion forums, chat

areas, or in communities maintained on social media, or provide consent for us to use a testimonial, that information can be seen, collected and used by others besides First Rule. We cannot be responsible for any unauthorized third party use of information that you disclose in a public area on any First Rule site.

 

EMAIL AND CONTACT POLICY

We will not share, sell, rent, swap or authorize any third party to use your email address for commercial purposes without your permission. We may use the contact details you provided us to reach out to you with information regarding services that may be of interest to you, for example, upcoming promotions.

 

MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS

Any information collected by First Rule may be transferred or assigned to a third party which acquires all or part of First Rule’s equity, acquires substantially all of First Rule’s assets, is acquired in whole or in part by First Rule, enters into a partnership with First Rule, or engages in a merger with First Rule.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the appropriate use of information we gather about you, we have taken commercially reasonable steps to protect the information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure.

This Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time. Any such changes will be posted on this page. The effective date of this policy was June 30, 2024.
